Beijing: Chinese Calligraphy Class

Overview

You will have your first Chinese calligraphy class in historical Hutong building. The class will begin with a brief introduction of Chinese characters and four treasures in a Chinese study. Then, the experienced teacher Mr. Yan will show you the correct way to handle a writing brush as well as basic strokes writing skills. After practicing, you are expected to finish a single character (e.g. “Fu”, “Le”, “He”, “Or Mei”, they are all good blessings in Chinese) on Chinese style fan or ornament. Take home your first Chinese calligraphy masterpiece and enjoy the culture tour in our workshop.
