Summer Palace Pro-Tips

Is there a lot of uphill walking?

The main lakefront area is flat. If you choose the "Tower of Buddhist Incense" add-on, there are steep stairs to climb, but the view is absolutely worth it. We can adjust the pace to your comfort.

How do we handle the entrance tickets?

We take care of all ticket reservations in advance. Just bring your passport for the entry check—no standing in ticket booth lines!

Can we add a boat ride on Kunming Lake?

Yes! Boat rides are weather-dependent. If you'd like to include one, simply inform your guide on the day, and they will help you purchase tickets for a scenic ferry ride across the lake.
