Best Family Decision EVER

Took our 14 & 16 y.o. – best family decision EVER. Operator prepped genius altitude plan: staggered ascent + gamified hydration (who drinks most water wins yak plush!). Kids obsessed with: Racing paper boats in Yamdrok’s turquoise shallows Bargaining for turquoise bracelets in Shigatse market Teaching our driver Tibetan TikTok dances (viral in Lhasa now?!) Honesty: teens grumbled about 5AM monastery wake-ups, BUT later journaled about 'understanding silence.' Priceless.

Great value, hassle-free travel

I compared several companies before choosing this tour, and it proved to be the right choice! The price wasn't the absolute cheapest, but what was included was substantial and honest – no annoying push for extra paid activities (super important!). The hotels had oxygen, and the vehicles were in great condition, making the long drives less tiring. The pace was just right – enough time at must-sees like the Potala Palace and Namtso Lake for photos and soaking it in, no rushing. Driver Yang was incredibly steady, handling the mountain roads with skill that made us feel safe. The group atmosphere was fantastic too, met some really interesting people. Great value, hassle-free travel!

Unforgettable!

The activities were thoughtfully chosen to provide authentic cultural immersion. A transformative experience that offered so much more than just sightseeing. Unforgettable!

10/10 for experience

What moved me most wasn't the scenery, it was the people. At Tsamda Yerpa Monastery, we met an old Lama. Though we couldn't speak the same language, and thanks to our guide [Name] translating, he smiled and poured us butter tea. That simple kindness warmed my heart. Guide [Name] is Tibetan himself, and when he talked about history and religion, it wasn't like reciting a script – you could feel his genuine love for his homeland. The itinerary wasn't just about ticking off sights; we visited a local Tibetan home, tried making Tsampa (though we were all thumbs!), which was a full 10/10 for experience! For a deep dive into culture, definitely choose this company!
