Explore Zumiao (Ancestor Temple)
Visit Zumiao, established during the Northern Song Dynasty (1078-1085 AD), boasting nearly a thousand years of history. The temple features ancient wooden architecture with Ming Dynasty Lingnan architectural characteristics and intricate dougong (bracket) structures. It is renowned as the "Palace of Folk Art in the East," showcasing Foshan’s ancient architectural artistry, carving decorations, and casting craftsmanship. Highlights include the largest Ming Dynasty copper statue of the True Martial Emperor in China, the country’s largest existing ancient bronze mirror, the rare Song-style dougong with three downward eaves and eight supports, and exquisite three carvings and two sculptures (wood carving, brick carving, stone carving, ceramic sculpture, and plaster sculpture).

Discover 22 cultural relic buildings, 128 historical structures, and eight historic streets. Admire traditional Cantonese arcade buildings, pot-ear mountain walls, carved eaves, and winding alleys that blend strong Lingnan architectural features with modern Western and Chinese creative elements. Along with his disciples, he will guide you through the fundamentals of Wing Chun, providing an authentic martial arts experience.
