Essential Tour FAQ

What if Forbidden City tickets are sold out?

Forbidden City tickets are extremely competitive. We recommend booking at least 10 days in advance. If we cannot secure tickets, we will offer a full refund or suggest an alternative itinerary like the Temple of Heaven.

How much walking is involved?

Expect around 12,000 to 15,000 steps. However, our private car will transfer you between the two sites to let you rest, and your guide will choose the most efficient paths inside the parks.

Is lunch included?

Lunch is not included to give you flexibility. Your guide can recommend anything from a quick local bite to a fancy Peking Duck restaurant between the two attractions.
