Itinerary

Your private tour guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby in Beijing downtown.

First visit to Ming Tombs-Ding Tomb. Ding tomb is one of the thirteenth emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Wanli, and his two empresses. The tomb is the only Ming Dynasty Tomb that has been excavated.

Sacred Way, consists of the stone arches, the Great Red Gate, stone statues, etc. The most attractions are the vivid animal and human stone statues, totally 12 human figures and 24 animal figures.

Your tour guide will give you an explanation for the Ming Dynasty history and Chinese burial culture on the way.

You may decide your afternoon tour during lunch served at a local restaurant for Chinese meal.

Afternoon option 1: Summer Palace
Summer Palace is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing. It was an imperial garden in the Qing dynasty. Spend some leisure time here to stroll around the courtyards with your tour guide and learn about the history and stories behind.

Afternoon option 2: Mutianyu Great Wall
Mutianyu Great Wall is farther away from Beijing and more popular section, a stretch less crowded than the Badaling segment. It is considered as one of most famous Great Wall by the beautiful view in Beijing. Once you arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall, you can choose the return cable car or chairlift up and toboggan down the wall. 

Afternoon option 3: Juyongguan Great Wall
Juyongguan Great Wall is one of the three major passes in the Great Wall which is considered as the north gateway to Beijing. You will enjoy beautiful scenery, fine stone carvings, old watchtowers and historial temples during hiking. Tips: Jurongguan Great Wall is not packed with crowded tourists.

Afternoon option 4: Longqingxia Gorge
Longqingxia is located about 55 miles (90 km) north of downtown Beijing, flanked on both sides by green peaks and capped to the north by the Gucheng Reservoir, built in 1981. Longqingxia gorge owns peaceful and dramatic scenery of wooded mountains, curious stones, and karst caves. During a 1.5-hour cruise through the ravine, enjoy the view of passing attractions like Baihua (Hundred Flowers) Cave and the Shenxianyuan (Immortal garden) and Jingang temples afer cruise ride.
Tips: Longqingxia has amazing views in four seasons: beautifu green in spring and autumn, comfortable cool in summer, winter Ice Sculpture Lantern.

After the full-day tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in downtown of Beijing.
