Overview

Make space in a busy schedule for something quieter.

On the birthday of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, also known as Dizang, join fellow members of the Jiaotong University Executive Alumni Association, entrepreneurs, and like-minded friends for a one-day gathering at Shixiang Temple in Pujiang.

The day brings together temple worship, vegetarian dining, silent rest, sutra copying, and conversation over tea. Hand-copy selections from the Sutra of the Past Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the Heart Sutra, expressing gratitude, reflecting on personal intentions, and offering prayers for yourself, your family, and your ancestors.

Rather than rushing between attractions, take time to be present—with the words on the page, the meal before you, and the people around you.
